October Coffee Date

Ok I say this every month but seriously how is it October already?!
I love love love fall so I'm pretty okay with time flying, but it's still making my head spin a bit.
One of the best things about fall is that I can keep drinking hot coffee and fewer people look at me like I am clinically crazy.
Also Starbucks started doing super cute fall cups and the new toasted graham latte is the bees knees.

So, grab a cup and join me for a little Saturday morning coffee chat :)

The Ultimate Coffee Date
If we were having coffee I would tell you that I cannot wait for the Urban Bourbon Half Marathon later this month! I get to meet some of my BibRave friends in person for the first time and it will be my first ever trip to Kentucky which makes it double the fun!
If we were having coffee I would ask what you are going to be for Haloween or if you are running any Haloween races! I don't have a costume idea yet and that makes me sad.
If we were having coffee I would tell you that I have been binge watching NCIS on Netflix like a crazy person. I started from season one and I am watching them all :)
If we were having coffee I would invite you over tomorrow night because I just might be having friends over for dinner for the first time in our new place!!

What would you tell me if we were having coffee?
Any must see/do suggestions in Louisville KY?
Wanna come over for a pasta party?!

July Coffee Date

Good morning! I've been telling everyone all week that I can't believe it's July already! Now it's the Fourth of July...so I hope you are reading this from a beach or lake somewhere or at least getting some time to relax with friends and family!

First I want to share that I had great coffee and a bagel at Brooklyn Water Bagels yesterday...so I would want us to be eating that right now :)

If we were having coffee, I would tell you that I was supposed to go to the beach today, but a last minute change of plans meant going elsewhere. We decided to go explore the Daytona Flea and Farmers market which was pretty exciting. It's still not like the flea markets you think of with all the old furniture and odds and ends. It's still more dollar store junk than anything. Have you ever been to a really great flea market?

If we were having coffee, I would tell you that I am hoping to open an Etsy store soon and I feel like I have been running in circles trying to figure out the legal things I have to do first. I knew I should have been a business major!   I am l, however, looking forward to using my crafty skills.

If we were having coffee, I would tell you that we are still in the process of finding a place to live  our current situation is fine, but I can't reply use the kitchen and I can't have my dog. So I am hoping by our next coffee date I'll be able to share that we are situated in our own place and I'll have my dog back!

That's all for me today...we are off to find lunch and a fireworks show!
Happy Fourth of July!
Hope to catch up with you all soon :)

June Coffee Date

I can't believe that June has already started...I feel like it was just April yesterday.  There is so much that I would want to catch up on with you all if we were having coffee, so grab a cup and join me for the Ultimate Coffee Date!

The Ultimate Coffee Date

If we were having coffee...I would tell you that this last month has been crazy with moving and starting a new job.  This month we will be able to start shopping for a house of our own and I am so excited!

If we were having coffee... I would let you know that I found the cutest coffee place that roasts their own beans and makes the best espresso of all time!

If we were having coffee..I would probably vent to you that I have been dealing with LG trying to make my phone work again for over a month now.  They updated my operating system and now nothing works right.  Hopefully by the next Coffee Date I will have a new one that can actually do things!

If we were having coffee...I would tell you that I am currently trying to figure out my race schedule for the rest of the year. Moving to Orlando has made so many more racing opportunities available to me!  I love the idea of being able to go to a great race without driving for many many hours to get there.

If we were having coffee... I would tell you that I wish every week had awesome national "holidays" like National Running Day and National Donut Day (with Hug Your Cat Day in between the two in case you missed it!).  I had a blast cleebrating and it just made the whole week feel festive and exciting!

What have you been up to?! Fill me in so I have a reason to grab another cup of coffee and catch up :)
Have a wonderful weekend!

If we were having coffee

I always plan to join the Ultimate Coffee Date link-up. I write it on every calendar I own... but somehow I still forget. Today I am remembering!

The Ultimate Coffee Date

If we were having coffee, I would want to know how your week was. Like how it really was. As I get older I am learning that we so often pretend things are going well when they really aren't... and I am learning how important and amazing it is to have friends you can share your truths with.

If we were having coffee, I would ask you what your goals are. I used to hate setting goals and sharing them. It took me a long time to realize that your friends want to cheer you on. They are not going to laugh at your goals.

If we were having coffee, I would share with you that January was a big struggle for me on a lot of fronts. It was not the start I wanted to the year, and I'm still really not quite where I want to be but I think I am getting closer.

If we were having coffee, I would talk to you about work/life balance to see if maybe you have got a better handle on it than me. Lately I feel like I have been spending so much time at work that I am either out of time or energy or both by the time it I can focus on my personal life. I would tell you how much of a toll this has been taking on me. I would tell you that lately work has been hiving me more and more to do and that I am feeling overwhelmed. I would tell you that way too often I bring that stress home with me and I become less fun to be around. I have a lot of thought about this whole situation that I would share with you.

If we were having coffee, I would ask you for book recommendations! I am aiming to read more this year and my to-read list has lots of room for growth.

If we were having coffee, I would invite you to come to yoga class with me... then we could grab more coffee after!

I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
